How the Axiom team handles the details you share with us. Last updated 28 October 2026.

Axiom is organised by the students of Meridian Institute of Technology, Bengaluru. This page explains what we collect through this website and why. If anything is unclear, ask us and we will explain.

What we collect

When you register, we collect your name, email address, phone number, college or organisation, and optionally your year of study and city, along with the pass and events you choose.

When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, the topic you pick and your message.

How we use it

We use your details to issue your pass, check you in at the venue, run the events you entered, plan capacity and catering, and reply to your messages.

Coordinators and judges see the names of the participants in their own events. We do not sell or rent your details to anyone.

Emails

We send you a confirmation with your pass code when you register, and occasional updates about the events you entered.

Our emails may include open and click tracking, a tiny image and tracked links that tell us whether important updates reached you. Opens are approximate, and we never use them to build a profile of you.

Website analytics

This website uses privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to count page visits and see which pages are useful. It does not set cookies or identify you personally.

How long we keep it

Registration details are kept until six months after Axiom 2027 ends, then deleted or anonymised. Contact messages are kept for as long as we need them to resolve your request.

Your choices

You can ask us to show, correct or delete the details we hold about you at any time. Send us a message from the email address you registered with and we will act on it within 30 days.
