About the event
FPV pilots race custom quads through a lit gate course over the campus sports field. Qualifying laps set the seeding, then it is heads-up racing all the way to the final.
Format
- Two timed qualifying laps per pilot
- Four-pilot heats with the top two advancing
- A three-lap grand final under the floodlights
Rules
- Solo pilots, with one spotter allowed per pilot
- 5-inch class quads with a maximum of 6S batteries
- Analog or digital video systems on assigned channels only
- Every quad must pass a failsafe check before qualifying
